Crown 3 Equine understands that life happens, and sometimes even the best owners need help affording what can often be an intimidating balance due. Therefore, we do our best to work with all our owners to provide the best care possible while respecting economic limitations.

Things to note:

  • A credit or debit card is required to be on file and will be automatically charged monthly for your payment. Checks are not acceptable payment methods for Wellness Plans.
  • Missed payments will result in cancellation of the Wellness Plan.

 

For Emergency Care or Complicated Procedures: ScratchPay

ScratchPay is an outside service that works with Crown 3 Equine for emergency financing. Applying is easy – as simple as a text message or website access! Decisions are available instantly and applying for ScratchPay does not affect your credit score. Many repayment options are available through ScratchPay, some even without any interest accrued..

  • ScratchPay is an independent company that provides financing for veterinary services. Crown 3 Equine does not control terms or decisions made or offered by ScratchPay.
  • An estimate is required from Crown 3 Equine for the cost of care before applying for ScratchPay. Please work with the veterinarian in charge of your case to be supplied an estimate.
  • ScratchPay approval and amount must be provided to Crown 3 Equine before elective procedures can be scheduled.

Last Resort for Select Clients: Crown 3 Equine financing

Crown 3 Equine offers limited financing on a case-by-case basis. In order to qualify for this in-house program, the following stipulations must be met:

  • The client has a positive payment history with Crown 3 Equine for at least 6 months.
  • The client’s account must be current and in good standing, with an outstanding balance due of less than $500, and dated less than 90 days.
  • The client must have applied for ScratchPay and show proof of denial for a line of credit.
  • A credit or debit card must be on file, with a signed authorization page for automatic charges on a predetermined schedule.
  • A finance charge of 18% APR will be charged to the outstanding balance and all finances charges must be paid before the account is declared current.
  • Elective, non-emergency procedures will be handled on an immediate payment only basis until the account is brought current.
  • Crown 3 Equine reserves the right to decline extending credit to any client for any reason. Reasons for declined credit are available in writing upon request.
  • Crown 3 Equine reserves the right to decline scheduling elective, non-emergency procedures until the account is brought current.
  • Crown 3 Equine reserves the right to pursue standard collections and legal actions against any account over 90 days. Venue for any action shall lie in Grayson County, and will be governed by the laws of the state of Texas.
