Practice Manager, Crown3

Connie West

Connie comes to Crown 3 Equine with almost 15 years experience as Office Manager form some very recognized equine facilities. She worked 8 years with Joe and Suzy Jeane at Down The Rail Performance Prospects, who stood the AQHA Hall Of Fame stallion Zips Chocolate Chip and several other stallions. Connie worked 5 years for Jim Helzer at JEH Equine Reproduction, standing famous AQHA Racing Stallions Tres Seis, Separatist, Leaving Memories, and many more. Most recently, Connie worked for Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses as their Office Manager.

Connie has been married to her husband Tim for almost 24 years and have lived at their ranch in Collinsville for over 20 years. They have 12 thoroughbred horses, 12 dogs, and a herd of sheep, geese, and chickens. In their spare time Connie and Tim have a clipper blade sharpening business and also breed Great Danes.

It was at JEH that Connie and Dr. Bridget met each other and realized that they were a complimentary team. They are both excited to work together to grow Crown 3 Equine over the next several years.

Shannel Rae

Shanell joins Crown 3 Equine as the friendly voice you can schedule your appointment with. Originally from Minnesota and a proud graduate of North Dakota State University, she loves all Texas life has to offer.

A lifelong horse lover, Shanell grew up on the back of a horse training and competing. In her spare time, Shanell enjoys bringing along new prospects and turning them into All-Around show horses.

She is also a Corgi lover and is enjoying the golden years with her Grandma Corgi, Lola.

Office Assistant, Crown3

Kay Renfo

During her work at JEH Equine Reproduction as an assistant to Connie, Kay met Dr. Bridget and formed a great friendship. When JEH closed its doors, Dr. Bridget started Crown 3 Equine Veterinary Services, so it worked out perfectly for Kay when Connie needed a part-time assistant to her as Dr. Bridget’s practice grew quickly. Kay assists Connie with Invoices, Coggins, Health Certificates, patient files, and inventory reconciliation to name a few.

Kay and her husband, Richard, have been married for 28 years, and have lived in their place South of Whitesboro for the past 25 years. They have 4 sons between them, as well as 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Kay has an extensive background in breeding, raising, and showing Paint horses with numerous World and National Champions to her credit.

She is excited to be a part of such a dynamic veterinary practice as Crown 3 Equine Veterinary Services.
